Safety & Crisis Support
Coaching can support reflection and recovery, but it is not the right service for an immediate emergency or acute mental-health crisis.

If you are in immediate danger
Do not wait for a coaching reply. Contact appropriate emergency services where you are, move to a safer place if you can do so safely, or contact a trusted local person or specialist service.
India
- Emergency Response Support System: 112 for police, fire, medical, and other emergencies. Official information: 112.gov.in.
- Tele-MANAS: 14416 or 1800-89-14416 for 24/7 tele-mental-health support through India’s National Tele Mental Health Programme. Official information: Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
- Women Helpline: 181 for women in distress or facing violence, with links to emergency and support services. Official information: Ministry of Women and Child Development.
Availability and service coverage can change. If a number does not connect, use 112 for an emergency or locate an appropriate current service in your state or territory.
If you are outside India
Use the emergency number and crisis or domestic-abuse services for the country where you are physically located. If you are travelling, use local services rather than relying on a service in your home country.
If someone may monitor your phone or accounts
If it is safe to do so, consider using a device, browser profile, phone number, email address, or account the other person cannot access. Do not make a sudden change to a monitored device if doing so could increase danger.
On the coaching fit form, choose the safest contact method available and share only the minimum information needed for fit review.
What the coaching safety question means
The fit form asks whether you are in immediate physical danger or experiencing an immediate urge to seriously harm yourself. A “Yes” or “Not sure” answer is treated as a safety flag because coaching is not designed to manage an emergency.
A safety flag does not mean you have done anything wrong. It means another kind of support may need to come first.
This page is not a substitute for specialist safety planning
Domestic-abuse risk can be highly individual. A specialist local service can assess factors that a general coaching service cannot. If you need a personalised safety plan, contact an appropriate specialist service in your location.
